To strengthen our Finance controlling team, we are looking for a Senior Controller. Are you passionate about finance eager to learn? Then you might be the dynamic controller we're looking forJob DescriptionAs a Senior Controller, you will work closely with the finance and business management for your scope. You will play a critical role in supporting key management decisions by translating business topics of a broad scope into financials and challenging them. You will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, and analysis based on business information. Regular contact with finance colleagues, including the local global accounting team, other controllers, and the billing and invoicing teams, is essential, along with intensive interaction with business managers.We offer you a very dynamic working environment while taking up different challenges, close to the heart of the company and with a good balance between strategic view, routine operations, and ad hoc work.Your main areas of responsibility are:Be the finance SPOC and the finance key person for your scope by helping the business to translate strategic decisions into financials and use the financials to help steer in the right direction.Support your finance colleagues in the cluster where needed.Understand the business model and market to challenge the business where necessary.Manage risks and opportunities together within your business based on financials and business discussions.Own the budget, forecast, and long-term planning of your scope.Build stories from actuals and challenge the financials in comparison with budget, forecast previous year as well as historical trends of your scope.Interact with local accounting and billing/invoicing teams.Provide ad hoc analysis. #J-18808-Ljbffr
