Job Description Nexthink is all about experience. As a Technical Writer, you will design the learning experience for our users together with the other members of the Product Education Team.
The Product Education team owns the digital learning experience related to Nexthink products. We create learning journeys for Nexthink customers and partners.
We provide expertise and guidance on using Nexthink software and how it applies to IT processes to help Nexthink users worldwide get their jobs done efficiently.
Collaborating with other Learning Experts and Product Managers, we prepare product documentation on Nexthink Documentaion () and create and develop online learning paths on Nexthink Learn ().
As a Technical Writer, you will : Obtain a deep understanding of products and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content.Document Nexthink core products and key features in the format of user guides, in-product documentation, developer tutorials, API documentation, and product release notes with unified examples and consistent style.Work directly with the Product Managers, Engineering, Support, and Product Marketing to deliver excellent quality documentation that ensures customer success.Update all documentation materials by following the product evolution and new feature development.Maintain clarity and structure across documentation and respond to internal and external feedback to update documentation.Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent voice across all documentation.Establish relationships with colleagues across teams to share standard methodologies, drive innovation and meet agreed goals.Qualifications 1+ years of professional experience writing technical documentation, such as user guides, release notes, and tutorialsComputer Science background or experience with Nexthink software is a plusExperience working in a modern documentation toolchain and optimized site generators such as k15t, Confluence, Stoplight, GitHub, GitBook, and ReadmeExperience using Markdown or equivalentKnowledge of HTML and CSS is a plusPassionate about synthesizing complex information into simple, elegant, and clear learning solutionsEnthusiasm for working in an international, collaborative, and fast-paced environment and learning new technologiesExcellent teamwork, creativity, and a positive can-do attitudeHighly professional level of spoken and written English, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and high attention to detail and quality.Additional Information We are 1000+ employees strong in 21 countries across 8 different time zones speaking 60+ languages.
