QUALIFICATION: Must be a Registered/Licensed Civil Engineer; Must have five (5) years of work experience specializing in highway engineering; Must have engineering expertise, strong communication, leadership, interpersonal, computer, troubleshooting, and time management skills.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for all activities related to the geometric design of the project's road works, including alignments, cross-sections, intersections, rest areas, toll plazas; Undertake the design and delivery of highway engineering projects ensuring quality and timely delivery for our clients; Plan, design, and supervise projects that keep road networks working efficiently; Responsible for all stages of highway designs ensuring compliance with appropriate standards; Check and review submitted conceptual designs by PMC, shop drawings, and design drawings submitted by the contractor; Provide constructive comments on highway designs that comply with the standards and specifications mandated by the implementing government office; Take into account future traffic flows, design of highway intersections/interchanges, geometric alignment and design, highway pavement materials and design, structural design of pavement thickness, and pavement maintenance; Perform other duties as assigned.
