Your primary responsibility will be to support the pediatric eye innovation strategy, including new product introduction, on-market product management, core product claims expansion, and compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the pediatric eye team in the management, planning, and execution of upstream marketing strategies and customer-centric programs.Work closely with direct supervisor and regional marketing groups, outside agencies, third party partners, and internal functions (e.g., key opinion leaders, market research, media, relationship marketing).Contribute to the creation and delivery of growth opportunities through strategy, new product development, commercial innovation, and business continuity projects.Monitor, analyze, and report on business performance, market conditions, and trends to inform marketing strategies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, commercial excellence, project management, RD, and external partners, to advance day-to-day business operations.We look for someone who can:Maintain high performance mindset.Create followership.Provide strong, objective-led perspective.Employ solutions-first approach.Develop and demonstrate strong business acumen.Major Duties ResponsibilitiesPortfolio innovation management (50%)Global portfolio planning for the Pediatric Eye portfolio supporting development of a 5-year strategic plan with inclusion of RD innovation and experience innovation.
Support portfolio strategy, positioning, and lifecycle management.Launch excellence business model innovation (25%)Ensure seamless collaboration with all stakeholders and a focus on marketplace readiness and organizational readiness adhering to the Launch Excellence process.People Leadership and Internal/External Collaboration (25%)Provide strategic leadership and vision working collaboratively with RD, MLR, Regional partners and other functions.Other DutiesPartner with CE market research/customer insights and business performance tracking across a global market landscape to strengthen culture of data-based decision making.QualificationsA minimum of a BA/BS degree in Marketing or a related business field, or equivalent experience, is required.
A minimum of 4-6 years relevant work experience is required.
A minimum of 3 years of marketing or product launch experience is required.Strong communication and influencing skills, ability to work in a team environment, and customer/market orientation is required.
Demonstrated ability to lead marketing agencies and inspire strong output is required.
Strong business analytics and customer insights development skills are required.
Proven track record of delivering consistently strong results and demonstrated leadership is preferred.
Self-starter independent thinker is preferred.
Ability to challenge status quo and lead change is preferred.
Experience in consulting or strategy development is preferred.
Global organization experience and collaboration with regional groups is preferred.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex project workstreams is strongly preferred.
