Job Summary

The Associate Marketing Manager, Global Strategic Marketing, Pediatric Eye is a key role within our Global Strategic Marketing team, reporting directly to the Senior Global Marketing Manager. This position will support the pediatric eye innovation strategy, including new product introduction, on-market product management, core product claims expansion, and compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the pediatric eye team in the management, planning, and execution of upstream marketing strategies and customer-centric programs.
  • Work closely with direct supervisor and regional marketing groups, outside agencies, third-party partners, and internal functions (e.g., key opinion leaders, market research, media, relationship marketing, etc.).
  • Contribute to the creation and delivery of growth opportunities through strategy, new product development, commercial innovation, and business continuity projects.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on business performance, market conditions, and trends to inform marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, commercial excellence, project management, RD, and external partners, to advance day-to-day business operations.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a BA/BS degree in Marketing or a related business field, or equivalent experience, is required.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years relevant work experience is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of marketing or product launch experience is required.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, ability to work in a team environment, and customer/market orientation is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead marketing agencies and inspire strong output is required.
  • Strong business analytics and customer insights development skills are required.
  • Proven track record of delivering consistently strong results and demonstrated leadership is preferred.
  • Self-starter, independent thinker is preferred.
  • Ability to challenge status quo and lead change is preferred.
  • Experience in consulting or strategy development is preferred.
  • Global organization experience and collaboration with regional groups is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex project workstreams is strongly preferred.
