Great and passionate people who collaborate, support and complement each other's skills.We are one of Europe's leading low-cost airlines, with special relevance in the Spanish domestic market, as well as in France and Italy.Job PurposeTo lead and optimize the vendor management function for the well-established Airports and the emerging Indirect categories, driving cost efficiency, operational excellence, and strategic value across the organization.Main Responsibilities/AccountabilitiesCategory Development: Establishing and developing the vendor management function for Airports and Indirect categories.Vendor Management: Lead the definition and implementation of the long-term strategy for suppliers in Airports and Indirect categories.Supplier Performance Management: Ensuring suppliers fulfill their contractual obligations.Process Improvement: Driving continuous improvement initiatives in procurement and vendor management processes.Collaboration with IAG GBS & Cross-functional: Collaborating with IAG Central Procurement on larger, cross-functional projects.Team development: Organize and manage the team, promoting their development, teamwork, and communication between their collaborators and the rest of the Company.Main RelationshipsCOO, CFO, Technical Director, Maintenance Heads, Ops Planning, Finance, Admin, Fleet, IAG Transformation, IAG procurement, Suppliers under Maintenance Portfolio.Experience5-8 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or supply chain, focusing on Airports, and Indirect Categories.Proven experience in a senior leadership position in procurement/vendor management.Experience establishing or growing vendor management processes in new or less established procurement categories (especially in indirect categories).Involvement in managing or supporting large, cross-functional procurement projects in collaboration with central procurement.CompetenciesFinancial know-howProcurement best practicesContract ManagementIndustry and Market KnowledgeLanguagesEnglish C1 - SpanishLocationBarcelonaLevelPeople Manager 3Vueling is the first Top Employer airline in Europe.Vueling is the first European airline and the first low-cost airline in the world to obtain this certification, based on Vueling's results in the Top Employers Institute's HR Best Practices Survey, and covers six areas of human resources across 20 different topics
