Our Energy Environment and Social Team has members located in the UK, Italy, Spain, and Colombia.
We provide services including EIA, ESIA, due diligence, and monitoring for energy projects across Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Africa.
We are seeking an experienced environmental specialist.
Principal Accountabilities Reporting to the Environment and Social Resource Lead in the UK Lead environment work for projects in Europe, Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean (this is primarily for projects where international lenders' standards apply) Recruitment and line management of staff Resource planning, performance management, training and development, promotion of health, safety and wellbeing, coaching and development of staff Delivery of proposals and work winning Leading environmental and social assessment, due diligence and monitoring projects and training/capacity building for clients Project Management Minimum Requirements Degree or equivalent in relevant discipline Membership of a relevant professional body Extensive relevant postgraduate work experience in environment or social disciplines including Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, due diligence and construction and operational monitoring of energy projects Extensive track record in carrying out EIAs and gaining consents for energy projects in Spain Track record in assessing energy projects for compliance with international lenders' requirements Technical leadership and analytical skills Experience in delegating responsibilities and accountabilities; managing performance; motivating staff; creating open communication Skills in project management; programming and planning; resource allocation; financial management; contractual acumen Ability to develop and manage customer and client relationships Fluent in English (Other languages advantageous) Job Profile Benefits Competitive annual leave An annual professional ICE subscription Life insurance Annual company performance bonus scheme - Subject to company performance Flexible benefits scheme to suit you Other Information Equality, diversity and inclusion: We put equality, diversity and inclusion at the heart of our business, seeking to promote fair employment procedures and practices to ensure equal opportunities for all.
