We provide services including EIA, ESIA, due diligence, and monitoring for energy projects across Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Africa.We are seeking an experienced environmental specialist.Principal AccountabilitiesReporting to the Environment and Social Resource Lead in the UKLead environment work for projects in Europe, Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean (this is primarily for projects where international lenders' standards apply)Recruitment and line management of staffResource planning, performance management, training and development, promotion of health, safety and wellbeing, coaching and development of staffDelivery of proposals and work winningLeading environmental and social assessment, due diligence and monitoring projects and training/capacity building for clientsProject ManagementMinimum RequirementsDegree or equivalent in relevant disciplineMembership of a relevant professional bodyExtensive relevant postgraduate work experience in environment or social disciplines including Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, due diligence and construction and operational monitoring of energy projectsExtensive track record in carrying out EIAs and gaining consents for energy projects in SpainTrack record in assessing energy projects for compliance with international lenders' requirementsTechnical leadership and analytical skillsExperience in delegating responsibilities and accountabilities; managing performance; motivating staff; creating open communicationSkills in project management; programming and planning; resource allocation; financial management; contractual acumenAbility to develop and manage customer and client relationshipsFluent in English (Other languages advantageous)Job ProfileBenefitsCompetitive annual leaveAn annual professional ICE subscriptionLife insuranceAnnual company performance bonus scheme - Subject to company performanceFlexible benefits scheme to suit youOther InformationEquality, diversity and inclusion: We put equality, diversity and inclusion at the heart of our business, seeking to promote fair employment procedures and practices to ensure equal opportunities for all.
