The role of the OEM Sales Manager is crucial for the success of the company.
In this role, you are leading a team of international agents (mainly Spain and Portugal) and you are the main contact for the OEMs.
The role of the OEM Sales Manager is not only obtaining sales but creating stable and continuous growth for the factory as well.
The sales in the OEM also drive sales in the aftermarket and vice versa.
In this role, you report directly to the Commercial Director at ROTOR.
As a manager, you also define the margins per client, which is done in cooperation with the agents but also in close contact with the factory.
As a manager, you are also a valued team player within the company to ensure that the company can deliver what the client is requesting.
This means close cooperation with all departments within ROTOR such as engineering, production, planning, logistics, marketing, and customer service.
You will be able to take part in strategic decisions, leading the design and development of a new business area of the company and may be the person who in the future will lead the team that will support it.
RESPONSIBILITIES Your main responsibilities include: Responsible for all OEM clients/relationships in your area of influence.
Setting the budget within OEM sales.
Delivering the agreed Gross Margin with OEM customers.
Collecting invoices with clients.
Managing the Operational Agents who report directly to you.
Co-responsible for bringing the right products to the market at the right time.
Defining and implementing the strategy that leads to continuous growth within the industry and stability to operations.
Finding new markets and new opportunities that may arise due to changes in the market.
REQUIREMENTS The OEM market is at the forefront of trends in the market.
The relationships you will start, cherish, and search for are an important part of the future strategy of the company.
A proven track record of a minimum of 5 years in sales and a valid understanding of the cycling industry.
Degree level qualification or relevant cycling background.
Ability to manage remote teams and their expectations as a flexible team player.
Data analysis is an important part of the job; understanding the data and seeing early signals that are hidden within it.
Ensuring the company is aligned with your decisions and motivations for correct follow-up.
Creating bridges between the OEM clients and the company.
Ensuring expectations meet deliverables.
Being a leader, not just an assigned manager.
A flair for working with people.
Strong communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
Passion for cycling trends and environment.
High level of communication skills in English.
Ability to communicate in Spanish and other languages is an asset.
Resourceful IT user and tech-savvy.
Ideally residing in Madrid.
Available to travel 50% of the time (including Europe and the rest of the world if applicable).
WHAT WE CAN DO FOR YOU Indefinite-term contract with a probationary period.
Remuneration of 60,000 euros/year plus an interesting variable compensation based on objectives.
On-site working day at our work center in Ajalvir, Madrid, from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 to 14:00 and from 15:00 to 18:30.
Friday from 9:00 to 15:00.
Flexible timetable and home office on Fridays.
