.The Sourcing Analyst will be based in Madrid, Spain in Nextracker office. The analyst will centralize initiatives and opportunities for the steel sourcing team to reduce Nextracker's carbon footprint. Steelmaking represents 7% of the global carbon emissions and the vast majority of a solar tracker carbon footprint. Nextracker is committed to reducing its carbon footprint and being at the forefront of decarbonation.This is the experience you will need:Passionate drive to innovate and createIntegrity to the coreEnthusiastic customer focusConsistent interactive teamworkDesire for continuous improvement and top performanceAbility to adapt to a fast-moving environmentHere is a glimpse of what you'll do:Build a model to assess Nextracker's carbon footprint and a carbon reduction roadmapPartner with commodity managers to investigate steel mill sustainability plansInvestigate and develop strategies to reduce Nextracker's carbon footprintPartner with our sustainability team to develop Nextracker's sustainability strategyDevelop expertise in steel sector carbon reductionHere is some of what you'll need (required):Solid structuring and analytical skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office; in particular Excel andPowerPoint. Strong data analysis skills requiredAdvanced communication skills (written and verbal) in an international and multicultural environmentFluent oral and written communications in EnglishResults orientation and demonstrated ability to think out of the box to drive resultsAbility to handle ambiguity and respond quickly and flexiblyAutonomousHere are a few of our preferred experiences:Bachelor's degree in a technical and/or business major; graduate degree preferred5 years experience in supply chain / sustainability or senior analyst positionPrevious experience in the steel sector preferredExperience working in an international environmentNextracker is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
