You will help drive revenue growth while ensuring strong customer contract retention rates and warranty conversion. You'll apply critical thinking to resolve instrumentation performance issues, train customers, and verify the operational performance and data quality of systems.This position is part of the Customer care team and will be remote. Our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.You will be a key member of the East Area team, reporting to the Service supervisor responsible for Field Service. If you thrive in an amazing role and want to work to build a world-class service organization.Key Responsibilities:Develop and build knowledge to understand the industry, the company, the products, tools, and the team.Be supported by a strong leadership team, involved in key projects to deliver successful installations for our customers.Complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Beckman Coulter equipment.Requirements:Associate degree (prefer technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering or related) or validated equivalent experience.Ability to travel and provide support in assigned geography, as well as periodic travel to other areas and overnight travel.Fluent in English verbal and written (CEFR).Desirable Skills:Demonstrated ability diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, and/or electronic medical equipment, IT repair experience in laboratory, as a Field Service Engineer or Biomedical Engineer.Experience collaborating with internal team members and external customers.Self-motivated role, very well self-organized, have a high level of initiative and communicate effectively with a wide range of hierarchical levels.We believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce.
