Senior Accountant

.We're hiring a Senior Accountant for our Finance Service Center in Asturias, Spain.As Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the full understanding, completeness, and accuracy of reporting for the countries in scope.You will work in close collaboration with external and internal auditors and tax experts, as well as being the liaison between different teams, Country Controller, and Commercial Finance.With a sound understanding of the local entities' underlying business, you will support an effective control environment and have a key role in the delivery of all controllership activities related to the legal entities under your responsibility. This includes Financial Accounting, Reporting, and Internal Controls.Your Challenge:Full ownership of end-to-end process from a US GAAP and Local GAAP (IFRS) perspective.Preparation of Local GAAP Financial Statements as applicable.Preparation and delivery of the Statutory Books and Direct Tax reporting of all entities under your responsibility in compliance with local and corporate policies.Execution and maintenance of effective Internal controls.Main contact for external audit.SOX controls: Analytical Review, Manual Journal Entries, Accounts reconciliation review/follow up for improvements noted.Provide accounting guidance and functional expertise to ensure quality and accuracy of all accounting and financial processes.Provide accounting support and guidance to the accountants of the entities in scope with the objective of development.Main contact for engagement with LE Controllers, other teams, and other centers.Key financial contact for the businesses.Qualifications - ExternalTo Grow What Matters, You Will Need:University degree in Accounting/Finance.Solid Accounting and financial reporting experience required: 5 to 7 years direct exposure to a European GAAP.US GAAP, IFRS knowledge and experience in Tax matters.Previous experience in audit or working experience for the big 4 is a plus.Business proficiency in English is a must.Advanced knowledge of SAP is an asset.Good Excel skills required.Who Are We Looking For?Curious, bold thinkers who want to grow their careers and be part of a winning team.Market shaping individuals who want to transform the agriculture industry to meet the world's growing need for food.Collaborators who thrive in a diverse, inclusive work environment.Innovators who bring initiative and fresh ideas that drive our business into the future and make us an industry leader.Growing What Matters Starts With You...
