About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Finance Service Center in Asturias, Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial reporting for countries within your scope. This role requires close collaboration with external auditors, tax experts, and internal teams to deliver high-quality controllership activities.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare Local GAAP Financial Statements in compliance with local and corporate policies
- Execute and maintain effective internal controls
- Provide accounting guidance and functional expertise to ensure quality and accuracy of all accounting processes
- Liaise with external audit teams and provide support on SOX controls
Requirements
- University degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5-7 years of solid accounting experience with exposure to European GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS knowledge
- Proven track record of success in audit or big 4 experience preferred
- Excellent business proficiency in English required
- Advanced SAP skills and good Excel skills an asset
