The mission of BSC is to research, develop and manage information technologies in order to facilitate scientific progress. We value diversity of experiences and skills, and you could bring unique perspectives to our team.Context And MissionThe Earth Science department at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center searches for one junior developer willing to work on the implementation of an operational climate service based on current research prototypes already developed in the framework of S2S4E projects.The successful candidate will support the developments to set up this system, port it to Earth IT infrastructure (to HPC if needed) and employing different and state-of-the-art technologies of data management, post-processing and software development. Furthermore, this position will be part of the Computational Earth Sciences group dealing with many other IT profiles and interacting with the Earth System Services group
