McCain operates 55 factories on six continents and employs more than 20,000 people worldwide.Within the Food Service Business in Iberia, McCain is the leader in the frozen potato category and your primary role, as Regional Account Manager, is to manage some distributors and end users in your specific area.Job Purpose:As Regional Account Manager (Aragon and Catalonia region), your objective will be to develop sustainable profitable growth, optimizing volume, turnover, and profitability within your area. With the support of your Regional Manager, you will develop the appropriate action plans for your customers, aligned with the strategy set by your Regional Manager.You will be responsible for the results of your region, implementing the best strategy in line with the European one in terms of volume, net sales, gross profit, and product mix, and ensuring its execution.You will directly manage the distributor of your region, with the support of your Regional Manager who will be highly involved in the most relevant ones.You will directly manage the main local end users of your region. Lead management will be part of your daily job.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain a good level of knowledge about market, customers, and competitors.Have a deep knowledge, understanding, and control of your area, distributors, end users, and product mix.Identify and explore potentials for development (new customers, new distributors, new trends).Develop strong relationships and partnerships with your customers.Implement the action plan defined with your Regional Manager in the most efficient way.Understand customer needs and work internally to propose the best solution.Manage the distributors of your area with a high level of independence, negotiating and creating the best action plans to maximize sales volume and profit.Manage the product portfolio, ensuring alignment with our strategy.Ensure correct execution of customer agreements (product, quality, service level, invoicing, claims).Establish strong relationships with other departments (Supply Chain, AR, marketing) to manage your region and customers effectively.Motivate the distributor sales force to align with our strategy.Work daily with financial metrics to analyze results and implement the best action plans.Execute plan and activity reports on a daily basis with relevant information.Analyze and interpret data to identify what's working/not working and make recommendations for continuous improvement.Transfer your action plan with customers into our CRM tool (SalesForce)
