Full-time; Permanent, on site How You’ll Make an Impact As a Quality Control Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our innovation, leading quality control and quality assurance activities that support reliable products, robust laboratory practices, and continuous improvement. Maintain site processes in accordance with quality standards, internal requirements, and third-party approvals. Manage the maintenance, qualification, and calibration of Quality Department laboratory equipment in collaboration with internal and external partners. Lead and support quality assurance initiatives, including root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions, to strengthen compliance and continuous improvement. Investigate, develop, and implement new analytical methods, test plans, and work instructions based on business needs. Provide technical leadership on polymer-related quality challenges, testing methodologies, and manufacturing processes in partnership with Operations, Research and Development, and technical teams. Maintain hands-on involvement in laboratory activities, including method development, troubleshooting, data review, and validation of analytical results. Participate in corporate quality audits and support follow-up actions. Contribute to achievement of the site’s annual NWSM goal and applicable quality, safety, and operational objectives. Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Quality Control and Quality Assurance environment within the chemical, polymer, specialty chemicals, or related manufacturing industry. Minimum of 7 years of experience working with International Organizations for Standardization (ISO9001) standards and/or other quality management systems. Demonstrated knowledge of polymer materials, polymer testing methodologies, and quality requirements associated with polymer manufacturing processes. Hands-on laboratory experience with analytical and physical testing techniques, method development, troubleshooting, and interpretation of test results. Experience leading customer complaints and non-conformity investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, enterprise resource planning systems, and laboratory information management systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English. Knowledge of statistical quality tools and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience participating in or leading customer, regulatory, third-party, or corporate quality audits.
