Position Summary
The R&D Project Manager leads the execution of R&D projects from initiation through technical validation and transfer to manufacturing.
Acting as the central point for project coordination, the role ensures effective collaboration across laboratory teams, manufacturing, quality, etc. to ensure successful project execution on time.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate R&D projects, establishing plans, milestones, timelines, and resource needs. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure effective execution and delivery of project objectives. Coordinate laboratory development, testing, validation, scale-up, and other technical activities required to achieve project objectives. Review experimental results, facilitate technical decision-making, and support problem resolution. Monitor project progress, activities, workload, and KPIs. Prepare status reports, and project summaries. Competences and key skills Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills. Understanding of R&D, product development, and industrialization processes. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously. Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving approach. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proactive, results-oriented, and decision-making skills. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Education ~ Master’s degree in chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
