Job Title: Sales Account Manager
About the RoleThe Sales Account Manager is a critical position responsible for developing new business relationships with clients in the Travel & Tourism sector. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to serve as the first level of support to prospective and existing clients.
Responsibilities:- New Business Development: Develop an effective understanding of TransPerfect's services, identify prospective customers, and develop new client relationships through cold calling, internet, and trade shows.
- Sales Operations: In coordination with Sales Management, identify, qualify, develop, and close sales opportunities.
- Customer Support: Provide customer support and manage client expectations in liaison with the Production team.
- Pricing and Contractual Issues: Manage and control pricing and contractual issues by developing a thorough understanding of company procedures.
- Cross-Selling and Upselling: Cross-sell and upsell various services and solutions into various departments within the client's company to optimize account profitability.
- Account Management: Take an active role in learning about each client's industry, business needs, and company culture to identify new business opportunities and provide a high level of service.
- Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent
- Superior written and spoken communication skills in English
- Native level of Spanish
- Previous Sales/Business Development/Account Management experience/Customer Service (1 year)
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- Motivated with a proactive attitude
- Results-driven, ability to work independently and take ownership
- Good analytical skills needed to project revenues, monitor budgets, and other necessary calculations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Interest in Strategic Business Development and/or Client Services/Account Management as a long-term career path
- B2B experience
- Professional experience working within a corporate role for clients within the Travel & Tourism sector
