We are currently looking for a Senior Software QA Automation Engineer to join their Engineering team and help ensure the quality, reliability and scalability of their next generation of connected health products.

Mission:

As a Senior Software QA Automation Engineer, your mission will be to own and evolve the testing strategy, automation frameworks and release validation processes across the software development lifecycle.

You will play a key role in increasing automated test coverage, identifying risks early and ensuring products are robust, scalable and production-ready.

Working closely with Backend, Frontend, Embedded and Product teams, you will help build a strong quality culture across Engineering, ensuring that quality is embedded throughout the development process rather than treated as a final validation step.

The Role:

You will be responsible for:

  • Defining and owning the software QA strategy across the product lifecycle.
  • Planning and executing validation processes before production releases.
  • Defining release acceptance criteria and quality gates.
  • Performing functional, regression and integration testing.
  • Identifying quality risks early and helping prevent production issues.
  • Designing, building and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
  • Increasing automated test coverage across backend services, frontend applications and APIs.
  • Developing and evolving unit, integration and end-to-end testing strategies.
  • Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Working closely with Engineering teams to improve code quality and testability.
  • Reviewing software changes and identifying potential quality risks.
  • Analyzing bugs, reproducing issues and performing root-cause analysis.
  • Defining and monitoring quality metrics such as test coverage, regression stability, production incidents and release quality.
  • Analyzing production issues through logs, metrics and monitoring tools.
  • Promoting testing best practices and a quality-first engineering culture across teams.
  • Continuously improving testing processes, automation workflows and engineering practices.

What we need:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in QA Automation, Software Engineering or Quality Engineering.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Proven experience designing, developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience testing REST APIs, backend services and web applications.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including unit, integration, end-to-end and regression testing.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
  • Experience participating in code reviews and proactively identifying potential quality risks.
  • Strong debugging, analytical and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Experience working closely with developers and multidisciplinary teams in Agile environments.
  • A strong understanding of how to build maintainable, scalable and reliable testing strategies.
