Who are we looking for?

Are you passionate about attention to detail and contributing to excellence through your work? As a Seamstress, you will play a key role in maintaining the impeccable image that defines The Ritz-Carlton. If you are meticulous, organized, and enjoy working with precision and quality, we would love to meet you.

Your Responsibilities Include...

• Performing alterations, repairs, and adjustments to employee uniforms, ensuring a professional and immaculate appearance.
• Carrying out sewing and repair work on bed linens, textiles, curtains, table linens, and other fabric items used throughout the resort.
• Inspecting garments and textiles to identify damage, wear and tear, or repair needs.
• Maintaining the quality standards established by the company in all tailoring, sewing, and repair work.
• Managing and organizing the materials, tools, and supplies required to perform your duties.
• Collaborating with the Housekeeping, Laundry, and Human Resources departments to ensure uniforms and textiles are maintained in excellent condition.
• Taking measurements and carrying out personalized alterations when required.
• Keeping the sewing workshop clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Monitoring sewing supply inventory levels and reporting replenishment needs.
• Complying with company policies and procedures related to safety, hygiene, and quality.
• Ensuring that all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and within established deadlines.
• Applying The Ritz-Carlton's standards of excellence and attention to detail in all tasks.

What We Would Like From You...

• You have a responsible, detail-oriented attitude with a strong commitment to quality.
• You have previous experience in sewing, tailoring, garment alterations, textile repair, or a similar role.
• You possess knowledge of industrial sewing machines and garment construction and repair techniques.
• You are skilled in working with a variety of fabrics and textile materials.
• You are organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• You maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
• You enjoy working as part of a team and collaborating with different departments.
• You are able to work independently and manage your time effectively.
• You understand the importance of professional appearance and presentation within a luxury environment.
• Basic English language skills will be considered an advantage.
• You already hold a valid work permit for Spain.
