Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects, from site assessment and feasibility studies to construction and commissioning.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, investors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee the selection and management of contractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Manage project finances, track expenditures, and ensure projects are delivered within budget.
• Facilitate effective communication among project teams, which may be geographically dispersed.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports and performance metrics.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies within the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) or a related technical field. Master's degree or PMP certification is a strong asset.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a substantial portion in the renewable energy sector (solar, wind).
• Proven experience in managing projects from inception through to completion.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies, preferably with Agile experience.
• Excellent knowledge of renewable energy technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Experience working in a fully remote capacity and managing distributed teams.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and MS Office Suite.
• Fluency in English required; knowledge of Spanish is beneficial.
