Key Responsibilities
* Lead the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects, from site assessment and feasibility studies to construction and commissioning.
* Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, resource allocation, and risk management.
* Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, investors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.
* Oversee the selection and management of contractors and suppliers.
* Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
* Manage project finances, track expenditures, and ensure projects are delivered within budget.
* Facilitate effective communication among project teams, which may be geographically dispersed.
* Prepare and present regular project status reports and performance metrics.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies within the company. Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) or a related technical field. Master's degree or PMP certification is a strong asset.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a substantial portion in the renewable energy sector (solar, wind).
* Proven experience in managing projects from inception through to completion.
* Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies, preferably with Agile experience.
* Excellent knowledge of renewable energy technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
* Experience working in a fully remote capacity and managing distributed teams.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and MS Office Suite.
* Fluency in English required; knowledge of Spanish is beneficial. Benefits
