Position Summary
The Sr. Growth Lead, Connected Customer Solutions (GL, CCS) is a newly created strategic position responsible for the CCS commercialization strategy globally. The GL, CCS will define, develop, and lead the execution of all key go-to-market activities across the CCS portfolio, in close collaboration with a strong team of colleagues in global product management, marketing and T&E, regional and country commercial organizations, as well as other Straumann business units. The GL, CCS will drive the adoption of Straumann digital workflows globally through a combination of go-to-market and sales enablement activities, including development of new business models, tailored value propositions for specific target groups and creation of sales & marketing tools, all supported by consistent immersion in voice of customer and voice of market research.

The GL, CCS is a critical strategic role to drive the growth and market share of Straumann's digital business in specific prioritized segments. This position is global in scope, reporting directly to the Vice President of Product Management – CCS, and requires significant presence in the countries with approximately 30-40% travel required.

Being able to formulate a vision, translate it into specific and pragmatic commercial execution plans and collaborate effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders in a fast-paced, high growth matrix organization will be key to success in this role.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the go-to-market strategy and all key commercialization activities across the CCS portfolio
  • Drive adoption and expansion of Straumann digital workflows globally, working closely with colleagues in the countries to support local commercialization activities.
  • Analyze the market, competition and customer needs corresponding to specific geographies in order to clearly define the commercialization strategy and priorities.
  • Lead the global launch of new Straumann digital products & solutions in specific geographies.
  • Create and implement new business models to lower barriers to entry and drive market penetration, adoption and long-term profitability of the CCS portfolio in specific geographies.
  • Co-develop tailored value propositions, sales- and marketing plans, campaigns and selling tools.
  • Develop strong relationships with target customers to understand their needs, get continuous input on our commercial and product innovation and drive endorsement of our portfolio.
  • Develop and implement global go to market strategies for different market segments including General Practitioners, Specialists, labs Dental Service Organizations and Universities
  • Drive alignment and engagement across functions. Champion internal understanding and support of opportunities to secure resources, focus and alignment needed to grow the business.
  • Develop in-depth and comprehensive understanding of Straumann's products and business models, and prevailing digitalization advances and trends in dental industry


Your profile:

  • Minimum 8-10 years' professional commercial experience in sales, marketing, product management, business development or related functions.
  • Minimum 3 years' commercial experience with digital, SaaS and / or platform business models.
  • Proven track record of driving commercial impact and results.
  • Experience with medical devices industry and a track record of being able to develop deep domain expertise quickly.
  • Extensive knowledge in digital dentistry workflows is considered a strong asset.
  • Willing to travel 30-40% including internationally.

  • Fluency in English; other languages considered an asset.
