Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounts payable team.Oversee the processing of vendor invoices and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Review and approve high-value invoices and payments.Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices.Oversee the preparation and execution of payment runs.Maintain and reconcile AP sub-ledger and general ledger accounts.Maintain positive relationships with vendors and handle escalated vendor inquiries.Negotiate payment terms and conditions with vendors as needed.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.Monitor and enforce adherence to AP-related SOX controls and other regulatory requirements.Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.Prepare and analyze AP aging reports and other relevant financial metrics.Provide regular updates to management on AP performance and key issues.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance AP efficiency and effectiveness.Oversee the use of AP systems and tools, ensuring they are used effectively.Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the AP systems.¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.5+ years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.High English level is a must.
