Gas Engineer
Location: Bath & Surrounding Areas
Salary: £35,000 £45,000 per annum
Hours: Monday Friday, 07:30 16:30
Start Date: ASAP
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Gas Engineer to join a well-established local company covering Bath, Somerset, Wiltshire and surrounding areas .
This is a permanent position working mainly in domestic and residential properties, carrying out boiler installations, servicing, breakdowns and general plumbing and heating works.
The ideal candidate will be a reliable and experienced engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service while working independently in customers' homes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Domestic Gas Engineer
- CCN1 & CENWAT essential
- HTR1 or CKR1 desirable
- Strong experience with boiler installations, servicing and breakdowns
- Good knowledge of domestic plumbing and heating systems
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
Responsibilities
- Install, service and repair domestic gas boilers
- Attend breakdowns and carry out fault finding
- Complete general plumbing and heating works
- Diagnose and repair faults efficiently
- Ensure all work complies with current gas safety regulations
- Provide a professional and customer-focused service
- Complete all paperwork accurately and on time
