The Position
This role is a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract.
- To lead and manage one of our cross-functional teams of around 6-8 Software Engineers
- Experience in developing design systems and FE platforms
- Embrace RES's values of Passion, accountability, collaboration, and excellence
- Foster a supportive culture promoting trust, collaboration, autonomy, and mastery
- Establish sustainable Agile team processes
- Provide guidance and mentorship to technical staff
- Oversee Agile delivery of the team's backlog
- Facilitate team decision-making on architecture and technical approaches
- Utilize data and continuous improvement to drive team excellence
- Communicate progress to stakeholders through OKRs (Objectives & Key Results)
- Collaborate closely with Product Management and Product Design teams
- Coordinate with other Team Leads to share progress and promote best practices
Key Accountabilities
You should have substantial experience as a software developer and in leading development teams using modern methods. A strong interest in technology, Agile software development, and fostering high-performance teams is essential. While technical contributions are welcomed, emphasis lies on leading the team and ensuring successful software delivery over individual coding efforts.
