Position Overview
As an Engineering Team Leader at New Relic, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our software solutions. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and enhance a team focused on the architecture, development, and upkeep of New Relic's innovative platform.
  • Mentor and nurture a committed team of engineers, fostering their personal and professional growth while ensuring high levels of engagement and motivation.
  • Lead strategic technology decisions, optimizing processes for efficiency and engineering quality.
  • Guarantee the successful execution of software initiatives through meticulous planning and collaboration across various teams.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to synchronize product objectives with business goals.
  • Establish and implement methodologies that promote operational excellence.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in data governance, ensuring transparency and accuracy within New Relic's consumption-based business model.
  • Drive the recruitment, training, and development of top-tier talent in the region.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in leading engineering teams.
  • Extensive background in Software Engineering.
  • Demonstrated success as a technology leader, with experience in scaling high-performing technical teams.
  • Proficient in managing client incidents, with a deep understanding of the technical implications and risks involved.
  • Familiarity with large-scale data processing in cloud environments.
  • Experience with distributed systems, data processing, and APIs.
  • Proficient in Java or other programming languages.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a distributed, large-scale, and rapidly evolving environment.
