Job Description We are seeking a visionary and experienced Director of Technology to join our dynamic team.

This role is pivotal in driving the technological direction and strategy of our company, ensuring the delivery of top-tier OTT platforms, playout services, channel distribution, transcoding services, and secure content delivery.


Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement technology strategies that align with Stream Republic's business objectives and growth plans

Innovation and Development:
Lead the development and enhancement of our core services, including OTT platforms, playout services, channel distribution, and transcoding

Technical Oversight:
Oversee the architecture and deployment of secure content delivery systems, ensuring robust DRM solutions and optimal performance

Team Management:
Lead and mentor a global team of engineers and technology specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence

Project Management:
Manage large-scale technology projects, from conception through implementation, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results

Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, and operations, to align technological advancements with business needs

Industry Engagement:
Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously integrating best practices and innovative solutions

Qualifications Educational Background:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Experience:
Minimum of 10 years in a senior technology leadership role within the media services industry

Technical Expertise:
Deep knowledge of OTT platforms, playout services, channel distribution, video encoding and transcoding, and DRM solutions

Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse, international team of technology professionals

Project Management:
Strong project management skills with experience managing large, complex projects

Communication:
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
