As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Representative to join our team in Barcelona.


The role:


As a Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business by identifying and cultivating new sales opportunities.

Your primary responsibility will be to prospect potential clients and nurture leads, working closely with the sales team to convert them into loyal customers.

This position will require you to demonstrate exceptional autonomy, communication skills, and a passion for driving results.

Responsibilities:

  • Autonomy: While receiving close supervision and support during the onboarding process, you will manage the sales pipeline, requiring guidance on outreach strategies, account selection, and identifying buyer personas. You will work towards gradually gaining more autonomy as you become fully onboarded.
  • Quality Deliverables: You will collaborate closely with the sales team, ensuring the quality of deliverables through effective communication and receiving necessary guidance as needed.
  • Communication: With your excellent communication skills, you will engage with prospects, actively listen to their needs, and effectively communicate the value proposition of Monta's solutions. Clear and concise communication both internally and externally will be critical to your success.
  • Collaboration: You will work collaboratively with the prospecting team to effectively manage delivered accounts while also taking ownership of developing your own pipeline for the assigned territory.
  • Prospecting: Your role will involve actively searching for potential accounts and creating opportunities from scratch. Leveraging your prospecting experience and industry knowledge, you will identify and engage with potential customers, nurturing leads and converting them into qualified opportunities.
  • Salesforce Utilisation: You will be responsible for obtaining all necessary data and updating Salesforce accurately, ensuring the CRM system is properly utilized to track and manage sales activities.

Requirements:

  • Language Fluency: Fluent in German. Strong proficiency in English is highly desirable.
  • Experience: No prior experience is required as a Business Development Representative, making this an excellent opportunity for entrylevel professionals looking to kickstart their career in sales. However, experience in prospecting and working in the SaaS/Tech industry would be considered a plus.
  • Proactive Mindset: You possess a proactive mindset and a strong drive to succeed. Your ability to take initiative and adapt to new challenges will be crucial to thrive in this role.
  • Resultsoriented: You have a demonstrated track record of achieving targets and meeting deadlines. Your ability to work effectively in a goaldriven environment is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. You can articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Team Player: You work well in a collaborative team environment, actively contributing your ideas and supporting the success of the overall sales team.
  • Techsavvy: Proficiency with Hubspot is preferred.
