As a Global Technical Specialist at Hitachi Energy, you'll be working on internal and external communication projects strategically. We're on the lookout for a highly motivated individual with expertise in SCADA/EMS/DMS/OMS Solutions, along with analytics and IT/OT integration experience. The ideal candidate will be in charge of devising technical solutions for sales opportunities.

Your responsibilities
- You'll be tasked with qualifying new opportunities by utilizing analytical and diagnostic skills to align user needs with Hitachi Energy Network Control Solutions
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations of the solutions
- Design the technical solution strategy for customers
- Engage in bid preparations actively
- Develop demo scenarios for customer workshops and proof of concepts
- Gain a profound understanding of customer challenges through frequent visits
- Embody Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity by taking accountability for your actions and supporting your colleagues and the business
Your background
- Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or software engineering
- Possess experience in electric utility, IT/OT integration, or system integration within the utility domain
- Beneficial to have a deep understanding of applications in the electric utilities sector
- Extensive IT/OT knowledge with 3rd-party system integration and IT security experience
- Strong writing and presentation abilities
- Flexibility for travel is necessary
- Proficiency in English, knowledge of additional languages such as French is advantageous
- Personal qualities should include being a team player, professional, and self-motivated in driving business and technology
