What You Will Do


You will lead a small team of technical specialists based in the region who are supporting the KENVUE EMEA Dual Sourcing Program.

Through this program we will significantly increase the reliability of our EMEA OTC Supply through qualifying second source suppliers for our critical APIs, raw and packaging materials.

You will belong to a regional team and will report to a Senior Manager. You will have extensive contacts with internal and external manufacturers and J&J colleagues all over the world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead MS&T owned activities related to the qualification of alternative API and raw material suppliers
  • Coordinating relevant activities together with the Kenvue Raw Material Center
  • Improving and simplifying our API, raw and packaging material qualification process
  • Working closely with Quality and Procurement to assure the right suppliers are selected
  • Support the Drug Product impact assessment
  • Being an active member of the assigned project teams
  • Develop risk based process validation strategies
  • Receiving approval for the validation strategy from Kenvue internal forum with your team
  • Liaise with manufacturing sites for the validation execution
  • Support Manufacturing process problem resolution
  • Assuring appropriate communication to stakeholders
  • Lead and develop the Materials Management team within MS&T EMEA
  • Assure project timelines are respected by your team
  • Review and approve documents generated by your team

Qualifications:

What We Are Looking For

  • Masters degree with a major in chemistry, chemical engineering or pharmaceutics or equivalent degree.
  • A minimum of 710 years in a pharmaceutical manufacturing or product development of multiingredient finished dose.
  • Experience with nonprescription ingredients used in cough, cold & allergy preparations and analgesics and experience with direct compression and wetgranulation technologies a distinct advantage.
  • A proven business partner and the ability to bring together multidisciplined technical staff in order to problemsolve issues.
  • Comprehensive understanding of quality compliance knowledge within EU and good understanding of GxP systems.
  • Technical writing and documentation review abilities.
  • Strong leadership skills and team spirit to collaborate with varied people at different levels.
  • Team management experience is a benefit
  • You bring with you an agile mindset and you like to challenge the status quo
  • You can work in autonomy while handling multiple priorities.
  • Activities are to a large extent outsourced and experience in working with CROs is a plus.
  • Since we are working in an international organization, strong verbal and written English is a prerequisite.
Desired Qualifications

  • Since the product portfolio is a global portfolio, extensive knowledge of worldwide requirements is merit
  • Experience with Minitab or any other statistical data analysis tool is a plus
