About the Role

As a Project Material Manager at Alstom Gruppe, you will play a crucial role in industrializing projects and ensuring the optimal delivery of materials to customers. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to apply your material management expertise in a cutting-edge field.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Represent operations within the project team, industrializing projects to deliver materials in an optimized industrial manner to customers.
  • Work closely with teams across the business to ensure the proper set-up of Project Industrialization processes and manage corresponding deliverables.
  • Monitor technical data for procurement, define industrial schemes, and develop make-or-buy strategies.
  • Review direct purchase requirements, enter project material requirements in SAP, and expedite deliveries to meet QCD commitments.
  • Manage shipments of materials to installation sites and oversee Supply Chain Work Package activities.

Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering
  • 3 years of experience in Project, Sourcing, Engineering, or Quality roles
  • Interest in technical fields
  • Previous experience in a managerial role (desired)
  • Costing knowledge
  • Scheduling and supplier management expertise
  • SAP knowledge
  • High-level English proficiency (required)
  • French language skills (recommended)
