About the Job

  • The Marketing Operations Studio Lead (M/F/d) is responsible to lead our nearshored Marketing Operations Studio in Madrid and ensures digital marketing campaigns are aligned with regional and local marketing plans.
  • The role is within the Team Digital Marketing & Customer Engagement. While the core team itself is situated in our global Headquarters in Basel, the bespoke position is in Madrid, Spain.
  • The MOS Lead is responsible for the performance of the operational campaign project management of the MOS team in Madrid, inline with the MOS-Service strategy and ensures coordination and execution of the MOS service consumption. The MOS lead works closely together with the project lead team and ensures service excellence and team development.
  • The MOS Lead ensures outstanding endtoend omnichannel gotomarket approaches aligned with global, regional and local marketing plans.
  • The position holder works closely together with the other Marketing Operation Studios to orchestrate campaign execution.
  • The incumbent takes coownership of entire local campaign life cycles starting from early planning and development phase up to market launch and analysis.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Manages and drives all aspects of digital marketing and directly supports the Senior Project Manager Digital Content & Marketing and is the key responsible for the local campaign execution of endtoend multichannel gotomarket campaign concepts together with our markets.
  • Lead a team of 510 digital marketing professionals.
  • Enable countries and brands to successfully execute campaigns based on MOS services.
  • Takes part in alignment meetings and supports the planning and forecasting of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Ensuring local campaign launch readiness and execution and campaign market compatibility.
  • Undertake market research to keep up to date with current customer trends, as well as predicting future trends.
  • The MOS Lead is responsible for the operational campaign project management of the MOS in line with the MOS-Service Strategy.
  • The MOS Lead ensures the MOS team is performing clear briefings and project management setup and assigns tasks to the MOS team members.
  • It is the responsibility of the MOS Lead to ensure coordination and execution of the internal agency
  • Responsible for the MOS service excellence and team development.
  • Provide job descriptions and carry out jobinterviews with potential new team members
  • Provide endtoend project management for highcomplexity, multistakeholder projects with a strong focus on generating customervalue via digital strategies.
  • Ensure all content is onbrand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all online and offline channels of digital marketing.
  • Assemble, coordinate, and manage interdisciplinary teams from different countries in an inspiring way and drive the role of an internal digital key account manager towards our markets.
  • Act as a consultant to internal customers such as country organizations and headquarters to advise on integrated digital marketing activities, lead briefing sessions, and translate approved concepts into tangible deliverables on time.
  • Execute local digital marketing project plans as well as monitor progress in close alignment with stakeholders and communicate proactively.
  • Ensure professional, creative, quality marketing communication in line with company and product strategy.
  • Continuously assess and improve processes along the customer journey and procedures for the entire customer experience.
  • Lead Marketing Communications projects and provide general recommendations and guidance to the business (countries) on Digital Marketing based on market insights as well as the global marketing plan.
  • Support management to manage respective cost budgets, conduct proper resource planning within a project or work package.
  • Support management of vendor and agency relationships where required.
  • Key account responsibilities by developing and sustaining solid relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Acting as the main point of contact between Regional & Local Marketing and the global Digital Marketing & Customer Engagement team

Requirements needed

Qualifications:
Education, Experience and Personal Attributes

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in marketing or business administration or an equivalent combination of education and workrelated experience.
  • 5+ years professional experience in leading digital marketing projects and gotomarket strategies in global environments (preferably medical device business).
  • Experience in leading marketing teams.
  • Additional postgraduate and professional qualifications desirable.
  • Strong track record of project management in an international matrix environment.
  • Nonhierarchical teamoriented attitude, experienced in leading global teams.
