Connected Customer Solutions (CCS)

Connected Customer Solutions is a team of high-performing players and learners, dedicated to enable and drive digitalization and take us forward by leveraging all Straumann Group brands and services to connect our customers and become the leading player in digital dentistry.

**Primary Position Objectives**

The Data Engineering & Reporting Analyst (f/m/d) will play a key part in our purpose to generate business value through customer insights. They will:

- Find the most valuable/feasible use cases and build machine learning models to enable them.
- Work with the growth team to use the models in experiments and industrialize the most valuable.
- Contribute to the team with reporting, analytics, customer insights.

**Key responsibilities**
- Evaluate business cases for machine learning and advanced analytics, prioritizing the most valuable.
- Build machine learning models that produce measurable value to sales, marketing, finance and product management teams.
- Combine existing data sources with new ones, clean the data and provide a strong base for the models, automating when possible.
- Run business experiments using ML models, measuring value and providing metrics for which to expand.
- Contribute to the team with reporting, analytics, customer insights.

**Your profile**
- Commercial or strong academic experience of building machine learning models using automated tools and programming languages such as python or R.
- 2+ years of experience working in a data, analytics or insights team.
- Experience of working with stakeholders to define requirements, build analytics and to get customer insights from data.
- Able to work in a multi-national environment, balancing the needs of different stakeholders.
- Your skills
- Ability to use ETL tools, to get data from data warehouses into reporting and analytics platforms such as Power BI.
- SQL, DAX and data modelling in the PBI Query Editor (or similar tools).
- Understanding of the principles of data modeling and how to build data structures and relationships that model business scenarios and requirements.
- Reporting and visualization using PBI or similar tools.
- Quick to learn, able to think of innovative technical and business solutions.
- Able to work with technical development teams and business teams.
