What you will do every day
As Business Operational Manager at IKEA with your team, you can guide growth and steer the business towards long-term profitability, ensuring financial business performance and compliance with policies and standards.
Some of your daily tasks will be:
- Lead the store's business plan process together with the store manager and the management team.
- Direct and coordinate the financial planning process.
- Identify commercial opportunities with the commercial team and encourage reflection on business situations by evaluating and taking action.
- Have an overview of the store's profit and loss and direct actions based on it.
- Continuously optimize and develop store results and performance by implementing best practices, reducing discrepancies to identify opportunities, and tracking benchmark KPIs.
- Provide relevant and easy-to-understand information, encouraging standardized reporting and contributing to organizational competence allowing performance analysis and understanding for optimal decision making.
- Ensure that all investments are made with proper ROI analysis, taking into account all aspects of different projects.
- Lead and develop leaders and teams in the areas of responsibility of the BNO function. Identify and develop present talents to ensure succession planning.
- Provide a safe and legal environment for our customers, suppliers, and collaborators.

- Availability to work in rotating shifts and weekends.
