We are seeking an Operational Key Account Manager for our Sea Logistics team in Madrid, Spain

Role Overview:

The Operational Key Account Manager plays a crucial role as the operational coordinator, overseeing assigned accounts in alignment with national management directives. Acting as the central point of control for operational functions across all transportation modes, this position ensures superior service delivery, operational efficiency, data accuracy, and overall client satisfaction. The OKAM diligently monitors established internal and client-facing performance metrics and KPIs, striving for continuous process enhancements to not just meet but surpass customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with Customer Solutions and Sales (KAM) on New Business Implementation and Process Improvement Projects;
  • Developing and maintaining SOPs and Vendor Manuals in partnership with KAM and Customer Solutions, ensuring adherence and sharing with relevant stakeholders;
  • Overseeing SOP compliance through documentation and KPI monitoring;
  • Managing Data Quality and conducting ongoing Root Cause Analysis;
  • Implementing new lanes and services in coordination with the KAM team's Account Plan;
  • Monitoring and managing Customers' KPIs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in Air & Sea Freight forwarding industry;
  • Strong analytical capabilities;
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team;
  • Tenacity and adaptability to challenges;
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficient in handling high-pressure situations in a fast-paced setting;
  • Proficiency in both written and verbal Spanish & English.
