Head of Strategic Business Development - Biologics (Spain)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of the company's business development strategy in Europe.
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, collaborations, and licensing opportunities to drive growth and expand our portfolio.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential partners, investors, and industry leaders.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the business development team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisionmaking.
  • Represent the company at major conferences, symposiums, and industry events, showcasing our expertise and capabilities.
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with internal teams to align business development efforts with overall company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in life sciences, business, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in biologics, with a deep understanding of adenoviruses, adenoassociated viruses, cell therapy, and plasmids.
  • Proven track record in business development within the biopharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with external partners.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel and represent the company at conferences and industry events.
