Job Description:
The Kids Club Attendant plays a vital role in organizing and overseeing daily activities for children, ensuring their safety, and maintaining a clean and orderly environment. Responsibilities include:
- Treating each child with dignity and respect.
- Recognizing and catering to individual needs of each child.
- Checking children's medical conditions as per registration forms.
- Helping children foster creativity and mutual respect.
- Ensuring all children have completed registration forms.
- Preparing and opening the Kids Club for daily activities.
- Assisting in planning and executing programs for children across different age groups and events.
- Preventing and managing injuries and accidents.
- Participating in staff training sessions and meetings.
- Collaborating to maintain a clean and organized Kids Club.
- Addressing issues and reporting promptly to the Supervisor.
- Assisting with dressing and diaper changes.
- Monitoring check-ins and check-outs using proper security measures.
- Organizing and storing toys and materials.
- Performing cleaning tasks and sanitizing play equipment.
- Engaging positively and appropriately with children.
- Adapting to unforeseen circumstances effectively.
- Completing necessary paperwork promptly.
- Supporting Recreation Centre activities when required.
- Providing babysitting services outside the Kids Club, especially at night.
- Adhering to Kids Club standards, policies, and health guidelines.
Qualifications:
Applicants should have:
- Secondary/High school education or College Degree in relevant fields.
- Basic computer skills.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic or Russian language skills are a plus.
- Prior experience in Leisure or Hospitality is beneficial.
