Technical Sales Engineer

Technical Sales Engineer
Arrow's Enterprise Computing Solutions is looking for a
Technical Sales Engineer. In this position, you will be responsible for building & maintaining relationships with customers, suppliers and Arrow partners creating demand for Arrow products
- the ArrowSphere. You'll collaborate closely with sales team, customers, and technical experts to understand requirements and demonstrate the value of ArrowSphere, provide technical advice and support for client in the South Region (Spain, Italy, Portugal).

HYBRID (2 times in month visiting our office in Madrid)

What will you be doing at Arrow ECS?

  • Providing technical knowledge and expertise
  • Supporting the business teams in the development and construction of offers to the clients
  • Interacting with the partners, identifying the needs and business opportunities by performing technical consultancy
  • Regular customer visiting: Business Trips across Spain and to Italy/Portugal up to 2 times per month
  • Continuously being trained in the latest technologies
  • In cooperation with the sales force, analyze at local level and other engineering departments, the markets, and customers where to develop technical proposal actions
  • Support customers' designers with technical proposals within specific technologies
  • Participate to product demonstration / offer presentation / contract negotiation

What we are looking for:

Native Spanish and business fluency in English:


  • At least 3 years of experience in
    technical sales or technical pre-sales, preferably within the IT industry
  • Strong understanding of cloud environment
  • Experience with
    cloud platforms e.g. AWS, Azure
  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Negotiating skills as well as strong communication skills
  • Strong customer orientation with a sense of innovation and technology
  • A real and innate passion to learn new technologies, a strong attitude for new and different challenges, be the best in what you learn
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Experience in crossfunctional collaboration and project management is beneficial
  • Foreign languages skills like Italian or Portuguese

  • Ability to travel freely across Spain/Italy/Portugal and France
