Key Account Sales Developer – Groups/Chains

Job Title: Business Development Manager at TheFork

Responsibilities:

  • Manage designated pipeline and make outbound calls and meetings with Groups of restaurants and Chains
  • Find and meet the right interlocutors such as CEO, Operations Manager, Marketing Manager, etc
  • Negotiate terms, including rates and margins, and close new business deals
  • Consultatively position the distribution platform and value proposition
  • Engage with prospective customers according to their needs
  • Adapt customer engagement to overcome objections and identify solutions to roadblocks
  • Effectively and professionally represent the brand and platform
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and/or quarterly sales targets
  • Collaborate with sales operations, supplier support, and account management teams for a smooth sales cycle
  • Exhibit determination and resilience in the face of obstacles or challenges
  • Engage with destination marketing organizations and other trade groups to win customers
  • Attend trade events, regional speaking engagements, and internal team meetings as needed

Requirements:

  • 4-5+ years of sales experience, preferably with an online company
  • Native Spanish with a good level of English
  • Travel industry experience preferred, especially with tours, activities, or attractions
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Proven track record of contracting new business and exceeding sales targets
  • Territory and pipeline management experience using Salesforce or another CRM tool
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English and relevant languages
  • Results-driven mentality with a relentless drive to sign up new customers
  • Self-starter with the ability to deliver on initiatives without constant supervision
  • Confident, energetic, flexible, adaptable, organized, and able to succeed in a dynamic environment
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Availability to travel 20% of the time
