Localisation Account/Project Manager

12 months maternity cover. As a Content Manager you will be responsible for managing the language validation projects globally, together with the coordination and delivery across a range of divisions for a global account. You'll own – and be accountable for – each project from the point of project setup, driving it through to successful execution, ensuring that we produce the highest quality.
Reporting to Language Services Director/s on all Language Services process activity as required, and Account Director as applicable.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Oversee daily language validation projects, serving as primary contact between suppliers, our teams
- Accountable for project status, ensuring linguistic quality and service always meet expectations
- Identifying new strategies, approaches & workflows for your accounts for continued improvement.
- Adopting and implementing best practices and processes to streamline management and all associated admin consistently with other regional Language Services Team processes
- Attending internal team meetings to discuss and agree processes and unified, centralised ways of working
- Putting together detailed and tailored linguistic briefs, for linguists and writers and always ensuring deliverables are in line with original client brief
Qualifications
- Qualifications - BA or MA in Translation, Localisation or similar language qualification or experience
- 2 or more years of experience in a transcreation / Translation project / account management role
- Experience with Project Management tools
- A thorough understanding and genuine enthusiasm for marketing transcreation and translation
- Process Improvement - You seek and implement solutions to streamline and automate processes.
- Team Collaboration - You'll be great at collaborating with team members to achieve common goals, valuing and respecting diverse contributions.
- Problem Solving - When faced with a problem, you collaborate with the appropriate people to evaluate different options find practical solutions.
