Procurement Manager- Construction projects

Turner & Townsend has a new opportunity for a Procurement Manager in Spain.
Procurement for major capital projects and programmes includes:-
- Developing procurement and contracting strategies to drive value and mitigate risk
- Developing tender and contract documentation, and
- Effectively managing the end-to-end procurement process including coordinating tender clarifications responses, evaluating tender submissions, and developing tender reports.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:

- Engage and influence clients on procurement of major construction projects and programmes across a variety of sectors including energy, transport, water and real estate;
- Drive real change by supporting clients in realizing their sustainability ambitions; and

The duties of this role include:
- Providing procurement advice to clients;
- Managing end-to-end procurement services on construction and construction-services-related projects and programmes;
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies and plans;
- Engaging with the market and supply chain on a national and international level;
- Providing expertise to embed sustainability within procurement competitions; and
- Drafting tender documents and reviewing contract documents prepared by others.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years’ experience with 3 years procurement experience for the procurement of capital works, goods or services; and
- Preferably possess degree related to engineering or quantity surveying
- Experience in construction, industrial, high tech manufacturing, battery, semi-conductors, pharma and/or manufacturing sector.
- Business level Spanish + English
