Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team in Spain. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing procurement and contracting strategies to drive value and mitigate risk, managing the end-to-end procurement process, and providing procurement advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing procurement and contracting strategies to drive value and mitigate risk
- Managing the end-to-end procurement process, including coordinating tender clarifications responses, evaluating tender submissions, and developing tender reports
- Providing procurement advice to clients and managing end-to-end procurement services on construction and construction-services-related projects and programmes
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies and plans, engaging with the market and supply chain on a national and international level
- Providing expertise to embed sustainability within procurement competitions and drafting tender documents and reviewing contract documents prepared by others
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years' experience with 3 years procurement experience for the procurement of capital works, goods, or services
- Preferably possess a degree related to engineering or quantity surveying
- Experience in construction, industrial, high-tech manufacturing, battery, semi-conductors, pharma, and/or manufacturing sector
- Business-level Spanish and English
