We are currently looking for a General Ledger to join us at our facility in Asturias.
Key responsibilities:
Production of financial statements entries (incl. accruals & TAX entries). GL account reconciliations: accruals, rebates, prepaid, etc... To provide guidance and functional expertise to ensure quality and accuracy of all accounting / financial processes within the functional area of responsibility. Month end closing activities. Reconciliation of different financial statement for US GAAP. Monthly and quarterly fluctuation analysis. To interact with Business, Legal Entities and Corporate Finance. To participate on internal & external financial audits. To participate in Regional / Global networks as needed. To provide functional expertise on cross-functional initiatives and issue resolutions. To proactively identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Key requirements:
University degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Economics. Fluency in English. Any other European languages are considered a plus. Demonstrated experience in accounting, minimum 2 years prior experience in various transactional accounting areas. Experience in Finance systems and/or General Ledger desired.Axalta operates its business in two segments: Performance Coatings and Mobility Coatings, which serve four end markets, including Refinish, Industrial, Light Vehicle and Commercial Vehicle, across North America, EMEA, Latin America and Asia-Pacific. We’ve recently set an exciting 2040 carbon neutrality goal, in addition to 10 other sustainability initiatives, and we take pride in working with our customers to optimize their businesses and achieve their goals.
