Adaptive is a financial consulting firm that partners with capital, commodity, and digital market participants. Its teams design and deliver front-office technology solutions and build capital markets products, including messaging infrastructure, a developer framework for trading systems, an open-source FIX engine, and replicated state machines.
Задачи
- Design and develop Java applications and libraries
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug Java applications to ensure smooth performance
- Participate in code reviews to support code quality, maintainability, and reusability
- Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in Java development
- Pair with team members to deliver high-quality outcomes
Требования
- Experience in Java server-side software development
- Experience designing, building, debugging, and operating distributed systems
- Experience designing and evolving messaging protocols and software libraries
- Experience applying testing methods to support software correctness and performance
- Experience measuring, benchmarking, and profiling components and systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A collaborative approach, willingness to share knowledge and learn from others, and interest in learning and keeping up to date
- Comfortable with test-driven and Agile development
