Senior Backend Java Developer (Microservices / AWS) (2) — Spain | Hybrid in Madrid, Barcelona, Málaga or Logroño | Remote in the rest of the country Full-time We are looking for Senior Backend Java Developers to join an international digital banking project focused on building scalable, cloud-native backend solutions. You will work on the development of modern microservices architectures within a high-availability environment, collaborating with distributed engineering teams in an agile ecosystem. This is a hands-on backend role focused on performance, scalability, and clean engineering practices. Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot Work with relational and non-relational databases Develop integration and unit tests Collaborate with cloud-native environments on AWS Contribute to scalable and maintainable backend architectures 3 years of hands-on experience developing backend microservices with: Java Spring Boot Spring Batch PostgreSQL JPA / Hibernate Relational and non-relational databases AWS AWS S3/Lambda unit tests (JUnit, Mockito) integration tests Spanish fluent/native level English B2 (spoken and written) – required Knowledge of Go / Golang Experience in digital banking or high-transaction environments Experience working in distributed agile teams Hybrid model available in: Remote from other locations within Spain We are looking for backend-focused profiles with strong Java and microservices experience.
