Infrastructure Operations Specialist

Support and maintain global infrastructure services (Operating Systems, Virtualization, Storage, Backup, and Patching) within a transversal team. Apply security best practices, including system hardening, configuration management, vulnerability mitigation, and security enforcement. Implement scripting and automation techniques to standardize, optimize, and control environments. Ensure infrastructure reliability and availability through active monitoring, alerting, and service management. Oversee and manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and external service providers during major global infrastructure rollouts (Identity, Data Center, and Network programs). Collaborate across teams and regions, partnering with Application, Security, Cloud, and Citrix engineering teams. Propose and implement new processes and operational methods using ITIL, Agile, and DevOps methodologies. Professional Certifications: Microsoft (e.g., MCSA Windows Server), VMware, Linux, Security certifications, or equivalent. Cloud Platforms: Experience with Azure or AWS environments. Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Virtualization: VMware or Hyper-V. Windows Server and Linux administration. Basic to advanced storage infrastructure management. Powershell, Bash, or Ansible. Monitoring: Hands-on experience with reliability monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., PRTG, Nagios). Methodologies & Governance: Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure Service Management, ITIL, Agile, and IT Security policies/regulations. Fluent in English (written and verbal communication). Proactive, collaborative, and capable of working effectively across regional and global teams. bProfessional Certifications: Microsoft (e.g., MCSA Windows Server), VMware, Linux, Security certifications, or equivalent.
