Hardware Design Engineer

Hardware Design Engineer This is a practical engineering role with full design responsibility. You will define board architecture, select components, establish electrical and layout requirements, and work closely with SI, PI, power, thermal, mechanical and firmware teams to ensure the design is ready for bring-up and manufacturing. You will remain responsible for the board throughout its lifecycle, including design reviews, prototype feedback, ECOs, respins and production improvements. Barcelona, Spain, Hybrid Senior Own board architecture and schematic design Design power trees, sequencing, clocking and reset Select components based on electrical, thermal, cost and supply requirements Perform circuit simulation and worst case analysis Build timing, interface and electrical budgets Lead formal hardware design reviews 5+ years of complex digital board design experience Server, data centre, networking or similar hardware background Strong digital and mixed signal design knowledge Clock, reset and level shifting knowledge Experience with high speed interface design PDN aware PCB design Python for BOM, netlist or design automation Flexible
