Datavant is looking for an enthusiastic and meticulous junior Data Scientist to join our growing team. You will collaborate closely with teams across the company, translating privacy requirements into data queries. As part of the team, you will develop your skills in querying and manipulating large-scale datasets, primarily using SQL and Python, while working cross-functionally with stakeholders across privacy data science, engineering, product, and business teams. Query, manipulate, and modify large datasets using SQL and Python Work extensively within Snowflake to build queries, transformations, and data pipelines Ensure data accuracy and integrity through careful validation and quality checks Proficiency in SQL for querying, joining, and manipulating large datasets Experience with Python for data analysis and manipulation Critical hands-on experience with Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Bonus: Experience with version control (e.g., To ensure the safety of patients and staff, many of our clients require post-offer health screenings and proof and/or completion of various vaccinations such as the flu shot, Tdap, COVID-19, etc. This job is not eligible for employment sponsorship.
