About the Role
We're looking for a Portfolio P&L Manager to own the profitability of a defined course portfolio across our LATAM markets. You'll be accountable for EBITDA and contribution targets against the annual operating plan - driving enrolment growth, optimizing acquisition costs, and managing the cost levers that determine margin. This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy and cross-functional execution, working closely with Product Creation, Product Marketing, Performance Marketing, Inside Sales, and University Relations teams based across Spain, Mexico, and Brazil.
Given the market coverage, this role requires a working day structured around LATAM business hours - starting at 1:00 PM Madrid time - and genuine fluency operating bilingually across English- and Spanish-speaking stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Own contribution and EBITDA targets for the assigned LATAM portfolio; partner with the Head of Business on strategy and quarterly goal-setting
- Run regular business reviews with sales, marketing, and cross-functional teams to track and course-correct against quarterly goals
- Collaborate with Product Creation, Sales, Performance Marketing, Product Marketing, and University Relations to ensure strong launch performance and sustained program health
- Analyze performance data to identify trends and convert them into concrete, actionable strategies
- Feed market and student feedback back to Product Creation to inform program updates and roadmap decisions
- Take a portfolio-level view when allocating budget and resources, prioritizing across programs to hit aggregate targets
- Act as a confident, credible voice across LATAM and Madrid-based teams — building alignment and driving change management where needed
Key Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years managing and scaling a category or portfolio P&L, with a demonstrated record of driving growth and profitability
- Strong business acumen; able to translate company-level objectives into portfolio-level revenue strategy
- First-principles problem solver, self-driven, comfortable owning ambiguity
- Fluent in the mechanics of a P&L — able to pull levers on both top line and cost lines to hit EBITDA goals
- Experience building and managing annual operating plans
- Strong data fluency — able to move from raw reporting to a clear, actionable recommendation
- Confident, persuasive communicator, able to build buy-in across cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
- Working knowledge of performance marketing levers and sales funnel dynamics
- Bilingual English/Spanish (C1+), essential — daily verbal and written communication with LATAM stakeholders
- Availability to work core hours aligned to a 1:00 PM Madrid start, to maximize overlap with Mexico City and São Paulo teams
What We Offer?
- Permanent, full-time employment.
- Remote work environment
- Join a purpose-driven global Ed-tech firm.
- International travel opportunities
- Competitive salary based on experience, with the possibility of target-based incentives in addition to fixed compensation.
